Teamsters
Members Help With Successful Political Campaigns
Teamsters Local Union
#696 members and retirees were extremely active in the recent
Governmental Campaign cycle. Their hard work resulted in several
successful campaigns that put worker friendly candidates in office.
Governor Kathleen
Sebelius won re-election as Governor following her first term support of
workers in all aspects of their work and home lives. Labor worked hard
for a Governor that recognizes workers in our state.
Nancy Boyda was elected
as Congresswoman from the 2nd District of Kansas. Nancy's arrival
in Washington DC brings another vote on the side of working men and
women in Kansas.

field work Among those successful races was the election of Annie
