Bud Moore

Bud Moore's family, Teamsters, and friends from all over the United States helped establish the LaRue A. "Bud" Moore Scholarship Fund for Teamsters Local Union  #696 members. The Scholarship Fund is administered  by the Topeka Foundation, enabling contributors to receive tax considerations of a 501 3(c).  The application will ask the applicants to write about the need for honesty, fairness and integrity in business and the workplace.  The Fund will carry on the reputation of LaRue A. "Bud" Moore and the virtues that he insisted were a part of any relationship. Bill Moore and Anna Tietze, Bud's son and daughter, are happy to share with Teamsters Local 696 members as their father and his legacy continues to help the members and their families with this annual project. Bill and Anna are excited that through the contributions by members and friends and significant funding by the family, the Scholarship will be renewable every year for the foreseeable future. Donations continue to be welcomed for this worthwhile fund for Teamsters children. Contact the Local Union Office to make your contribution.
